Dinner and overnight in Nanyuki.

Start your day with a scenic drive from Nyeri toward Nyahururu, enjoying the beautiful highland landscapes along the way. Make a stop at the iconic Thompson Falls, where you can take photos, enjoy the cool atmosphere, and explore the short walking paths around the waterfall.

Continue your journey toward Naivasha, descending into the Rift Valley with expansive views of the escarpment. Upon arrival in Naivasha, have lunch and then proceed for a guided visit to a flower farm. Here you will learn about;

  • greenhouse operations,
  • flower propagation,
  • harvesting,
  • grading, and
  • the export process.

Later in the afternoon, head to your lodge by Lake Naivasha. Spend the evening relaxing by the lakeside, with the option of enjoying a peaceful boat ride to spot hippos and birds as the sun sets.

End your day with dinner and overnight in Naivasha.

Begin your day with a visit to a community farm project, where you will explore different small-scale agricultural activities practiced by local farmers. Engage with the community as you learn about:

  • Poultry farming – housing, feeding, breeding, and egg collection
  • Fish farming – pond management, feeding practices, and harvesting

This visit offers a meaningful look at how smallholder farmers integrate multiple income-generating activities for sustainable livelihoods.

After the farm experience, begin your journey back to Nairobi. You will be dropped off at your preferred hotel or at the airport, marking the end of your agro-tour.
